Disaster Response

Our Response and How You Can Help

We know that even in the best of days, difficult times will come to us or our neighbors. In times like these, we come alongside local churches in affected areas. We believe the best way we can help is to equip, resource, and empower the local churches that are already in the affected areas because they know the people, places, and areas of greatest need better than we could alone.

The churches we partner with also have incredible volunteers who are committed and able to serve their community in both the short-term and long-term. These churches have built relationships that allow them to offer not only practical help, but the emotional and spiritual care that is desperately needed in the midst of disaster. People will turn and look to God in times like these.

Many Creekers have asked how you can help. We are so thankful for your commitment to loving people in need.

Here are ways you can be a part of the recovery:

You are already helping in a major way through your giving. Participating in food packaging events and canned food collections year long help prepare a storehouse for events just like this.

In addition, we will continue to send resources from the Coffee Creek Church ministry fund on your behalf. If you would like to give more, you can give a one time offering through Coffee Creek Church’s online giving portal.

You may also text any dollar amount as a gift to 84321 to support our efforts.

In the days directly following a disaster, the best thing we can do is pray, give, and let the response professionals do what they do best.

As soon as it would be most helpful and when appropriate we will coordinate with local churches to send out volunteers.

We will add teams as new relief locations become available, so check back for additional opportunities.

Thank you for your love, support, prayers, and generosity.
