What did the early church teach?

Our Christian Formation Series seeks to return to the basics of Christian discipleship - what did the early church consider essential knowledge for Christ followers?

We found the early church taught The Lord’s Prayer, the Apostles Creed, the Parables of Jesus, the Ten Commandments, the Beatitudes, and Baptism & Communion. Our three year rotation will focus on two of these topics for an extended series in the Winter and Summer seasons.
