Each week during this series, we'll answer tough questions about God and Christianity. We are polling YOU to find out your questions and Pastor Clark will seek to answer as many as possible during this series - submit yours here: https://www.coffeecreek.church/faq
It's a Date Night in a box!
Marriage has enough questions. Get clear—because clarity leads to connection. And to help you connect, we’re going to make Date Nights super easy.
On Sunday, September 30th we have a date for you. All you need to do is come to Coffee Creek that morning and pick up a Date Night box. In the box you will find step-by-step instructions, fun questions, and other fun surprises. It's simply designed for you to laugh, learn, and affirm each other. You are going to love it. You may be wondering who this is for? Is it for newly marrieds, couples with kids, couples without kids, empty nesters, couples in crisis?
It’s for every married couple, because every couple needs to have some serious fun. Every married couple needs to go on fun dates. See you Sunday, September 30th to pick up your date night box!
What are Christians supposed to do during a dark night of the soul? When Christians feel far from God, we can survive periods of God’s silence by remembering his faithfulness in the past, relying on Jesus’s example, repenting for any sin that could be causing our separation, and rejoicing by faith in God’s promise to draw near to those who draw near to him.
Come play with Creek Kids and their families at Okie Kids Playground! We will play from 10:00AM-11:30AM and then eat our sack lunch together. There is a coffee bar for parents to enjoy while the kids play.
All kids 6 years old and younger are welcome! Please have your child wear socks. You can fill out the waiver before you arrive by visiting their website. The cost is $5 per child with our group rate.
During this engaging, one-hour, interactive program, your family will hear a dramatic retelling of the Christmas story from cast members onstage. You’ll hear from Mary, Joseph, and an angel how the amazing events unfolded on that first Christmas.
Plus each person who attends will create his or her very own Keepsake nativity scene to cherish for years to come. Join us for this fun way to make meaningful Christmas memories TOGETHER as a family!
One of our most highly anticipated annual events! Join us for our Annual Pancakes & Pajamas breakfast with Santa @ Coffee Creek Church.
We will have warm pancakes. syrup, and sausage. Santa will be available for you to get a quick snapshot and will also be reading the Christmas story from the Bible to the kiddos in Creek Kids.
Children will enjoy making crafts in Creek Kids (come at 9:00 AM or stay for 10:35 AM) while everyone else is invited to join us as we sing Christmas carols and listen in on a Jesus centered teaching in the main auditorium following breakfast. The best part is that it's ALL FREE!
Of course we'll have hot chocolate, wassail, indoor SNOW, and excellent music before & after the service - so join us and bring a friend!
Since 2009, Coffee Creek Church has been involved in OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD, an outreach whose mission is “to follow the example of Christ by helping those in need and proclaiming the hope of the Gospel.”
“The power of a simple gift” is the theme of Operation Christmas Child, the shoebox ministry that reaches to the far corners of the world. Shoeboxes are packed with tons of items that disadvantaged kids all over the world have probably never had along with the hope of Jesus - the reason for the season!
In 2017 we will have two big collection Sundays - November 5th & 12th - where you can drop off your shoebox.
Here's how YOU Can Impact a Child in the name of Jesus this Christmas:
- CREEK KIDS: Creek Kids will be learning about the mission of Operation Christmas Child and packing shoeboxes as their craft on Sunday, November 12th in both services.
- STUDENTS: During their Student Nights gathering our middle & highschool students will learn about OCC and pack shoeboxes on Sunday, November 5th.
- COMMUNITY GROUPS: We are encouraging each Community Group to pack shoeboxes together during a regular meeting between now and November 12th. Ask your hosts when your gathering will be!
- INDIVIDUALS: Everyone can pack extra shoeboxes and make the holiday season amazing as we tell about the Christ of Christmas to kids across the globe!
Simply pick up your shoeboxes beginning THIS Sunday, follow the directions online HERE, make your $9/box shipping & handling donation and attach a label. You can bring completed boxes on Sunday, November 5th OR Sunday, November 12th!
- EXTERNAL ORGANIZATIONS & BUSINESSES: Each year we partner with external groups like FCA, NHS, 4-H Clubs, and local businesses. We provide FREE shoeboxes (at our expense) in order to broaden the ability of other groups to join in!
If you'd like to host a packing party at your workplace or organization, simply pick up as many boxes as you need over the next two weeks. Then follow the directions online HERE, collect donations for shipping and handling and attach a label. Deliver the boxes to Coffee Creek no later than Sunday, November 12th. If you need to make delivery arrangements simply email me: firstname.lastname@example.org
Every day, people stumble through life in an almost catatonic state, hoping to survive the gauntlet of their existence. But what if God wants us to do more than just survive? What if he wants us to discover the excitement and passion of a life worth truly living?
In this eye-opening series, Pastor Clark will help us discover God’s truth that life is more than mere existence; it’s more than a daily fight for survival. It’s an adventure worth experiencing!
“It's about the journey--mine and yours--and the lives we can touch, the legacy we can leave, and the world we can change for the better.”
― Tony Dungy
In this new teaching series from Pastor Clark Frailey, each week we will examine a different way to “Get in the Game”—joining the work of Jesus in our community—rather than just drifting along the sidelines.
This series is our Fall 2017 kickoff for our Community Groups and begins on Sunday September 17 with a Tailgate Party event from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM in the Coffee Creek Parking lot between and following services.
